I came across this video of someone doing a drawing of Cody put in fast-motion and it looks awesome! You can really see how talented this person is by all the time and detail it took. It looks almost EXACTLY like Cody! Check it out.
Could Bieber fans be tempted to trade their idol in for a younger, Australian model?
With his side-swept hair and pouty lips 14-year-old Cody Simpson was certainly giving Bieber, 17, a run for his money on US TV recently.
The singer – who was also discovered via You Tube – had a monstrous gaggle of screaming girls outside the Rockefeller Plaza in NYC where he was performing on the morning programme The Today Show.
Now, at the start of his US tour, he’s already been dubbed ‘the new Justin Bieber’ by US media.
“I just Tweeted and said ‘hey guys come down, I’m performing’,” said Cody when the two hosts gawped at the size of his following.
Cody Simpson leans back in a chair as he arrives at Radio Disney’s Birthday Jam held at the Hard Rock Cafe – Times Square on Friday evening (August 5) in New York City.
The 14-year-old Aussie singer tweeted, “gonna get some rest tonight in NYC. excited for the show tomorrow night at the Hard Rock in Times Square @ 7pm. see you guys there.”
Earlier in the week, Cody was spotted out at pal Jessica Jarrell’s album party.
Everyone wants to find the new Justin Bieber, and it seems he already exists. If the crowd at The Today Show this morning was any evidence, Cody Simpson will fill the void the Biebs is leaving by growing up.
Internet sensation Greyson Chance has been dubbed the next Bieber by many, but the 13-year-old American has got a lot of competition in blonde-haired Australian Cody Simpson.
14-year-old Cody sports longer hair like Justin and Greyson, but his slightly wavy mane is blonde. He slightly resembles Nick Carter or his younger brother, Aaron, and of course, his Aussie accent should really help him to continue to gain fans.
However, the YouTube star already has a fiercely loyal (and rather large) group of followers, much like Justin Bieber did at the beginning of his career. He also makes use of Twitter to keep his fans informed on what he’s up to, and all it took was a simple tweet saying, “hey guys come down, I’m performing” to attract a massive crowd of screaming girls to The Today Show studio. Hoda was astonished at the turnout, saying that the show hardly ever gets such big crowds. She also allowed one lucky hyperventilating girl to greet her idol, a tearful tween wearing an “I Love Cody” T-shirt that acted a lot like a Belieber would if given the chance to meet Justin.
