Cody turned up as Kylie’s guest at the intimate party last night — get all the details here, and get ready to see the star on an upcoming episode of ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’
With the Kardashians, family definitely comes first — and the Kardashian-Jenner group came out in full force on Apr. 23 in NYC, for the opening of Scott Disick‘s new restaurant RYU. The young Jenner girls, Kendall and Kylie, were first to arrive at the intimate party — but they didn’t come alone! A guest tells us Cody Simpson attended the private event as Kylie’s guest — and we have all the details on the night!
“Shortly after the Jenner girls arrived, Kylie walked to the front of the restaurant to meet her friend Cody. They both seemed really happy to see each other,” our source said. “They were sitting diagonal at a table, just talking and having a good time. Kendall was also at their table, but she left much earlier than the rest of the family.”
Our source went on to say Cody seemed totally comfortable around the reality family. “Kourtney went over to the table and was talking to Cody for a while, and they were all smiling and seemed to really be enjoying the night, while cameras were rolling filming Keeping Up With the Kardashians.”
At the next table, Kim and Kanye were cozy talking to family and friends.
Judging by their family outing, it’s safe to say we can expect to see Cody on an upcoming episode of the reality show! What do you think about Cody and Kylie’s friendship?

While not necessarily a household name in the states, Cody Simpson is an exceptionally well-known pop musician in Australia, and his appearance at ‘The Hunger Games’ premiere may be all that was necessary in order to boost his stateside attention. Simpson looked as sharp as possible in his grayish-teal slim fitted 2-piece suit, perfectly accented with an untucked white dress-shirt and shiny silver pocket square. Framed by all-white canvas shoes and his black, thick-rimmed glasses, it’s no secret that Cody Simpson knows what he’s doing when it comes to getting dressed for a premiere. Perhaps to show the world that Hollywood doesn’t have to be pretentious, Simpson chose to leave the top button on his dress shirt loose; something that is not often seen at premieres, although this may change now that he has set a veritable standard for how to dress when attending such an event.
Cody has been working on a new mixtape for the last few days called Angels and Gentlemen and he has released the artwork just last night! We love his sophisticated look! He looks so handsome and grown up. What do you think of it?

When Justin Bieber did an interview with a recent radio show called JohnJay & Rich, they asked Justin about his upcoming album “Believe“. They asked Justin if Cody was going to be on the album (which he’s not, anyways) and were asking why they would have Cody on the album, and laughing and making a joke about it. You would think that a grown-men like him would know better than to disrespect people. Being his amazing self, Justin quickly defended Cody in telling them to be nice and saying that Cody is a talented kid. Watch the video below to listen to the whole thing for yourself.
Thank you, Justin, for having our favorite Aussie’s back. We know Cody appreciates it, and we know Cody would do the same for you! Justin didn’t HAVE to defend Cody, he could have just answered their question right away, but instead he defended one of his friends and a fellow artist. So much respect to Justin for doing this. Hopefully now people will understand that it’s not a competition at all, as they each have tried to explain in the past, and they’re close friends and have each other’s backs.
Yesterday Cody attended the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards 2012 in Los Angeles, California at the Galen Center. Alli was also there, and they both took one of their close friends from back home in Australia. Cody took his friend Toby, and Alli took Sophie. They all looked so good from all the photos they put on their Instagram’s! Anyways, if you missed it, Cody presented Katy Perry’s performance along with Jennette McCurdy, who won for favorite TV sidekick. Also, to clear up some confusion. Cody was nominated for “Favourite Aussie Superstar” for the Australian Kids’ Choice Awards. The AKCA’s are tonight on Nickelodeon in Australia, but Cody’s award will only be presented during the AKCA’s. And guess what… CODY WON! So congrats, Cody!! Next year we’ll get him to win the American KCA’s.

Yesterday Cody attended the “Mirror Mirror” movie premiere with… his grandma! Too cute! Since Alli is out of town filming her new movie “The 12 Dogs of Christmas”, Cody is getting lonely in LA without Alli, so instead he’s hanging out with Grandma Simpson. What an interesting experience it is for her! That’s so nice of Cody. Check out the videos and photos in the gallery!
